Over 120,000 Americans wait on the ever-growing organ transplant list for a chance of a normal life. Tim McCabe is one of these people and this is his story. Tim's dream is simple: he wants the chance to see his children grow up, and be a loving father and husband. However, his string of rare auto-immune diseases have completely shut down his kidney function, and like thousands of Americans, he survives on dialysis, his body becoming weaker by the day. He fights on and with the support of his family, he gathers hope that one day he will defy the odds and receive a kidney that will save his life.
